What it is

WebMobi Event Website Builder is a self-service event website builder that helps individuals and event organizers create and publish an event website, share it anywhere, take registrations, and get discovered through WebMobi’s event discovery.

In practice you create an event, fill in what people need to know, and publish it. The result is one public page for that event at an address you choose, which you can post, message, email or print as a QR code.

Who it is for: an individual running a workshop, a class or a meetup; a community or club with a public event; a small organizer who needs a proper event page this week rather than a website project.

What you would use it instead of: building a site from scratch in a general-purpose website builder, a social media post that scrolls away, or a shared document with the details pasted in.

Four things it does

Each one is something a visitor to your event page will notice.

Easy creation

Start an event with three fields — name, start date and time, location — and fill in the rest as you go. There is no site to design and nothing to install.

Event-specific

The page is built around what people ask about an event: when, where, the agenda, the speakers and the sponsors — with directions to the venue.

Shareable

One page with its own address, which you can change later without breaking links you have already shared. Share a private preview before it goes public.

Discovery

Published public events are listed on WebMobi’s Discover page, and you can add your event to the WebMobi discovery directory as well.

How it works, step by step

The same steps our own guides walk through, with the names of the screens you will see.

  1. 1

Create an account on events.webmobi.com, where the organizer tools live. The free plan is enough to build and publish your first event page.

  2. 2

    Create the event

The quick form asks for three things: the event name, the start date and time, and the location. It saves a draft and opens the editor. Guide: create your first event.

  3. 3

Add what people need to know

Write the description, then add sessions with their times, speakers with bios and headshots, rooms inside the venue, and sponsors with their logos. Add them one at a time, or import a spreadsheet (.xlsx, .xls or .csv). An import only adds and updates — it never deletes anything from your event. Guide: build the program.

  4. 4

    Choose the address

Your event page lives at events.webmobi.com/events/your-event. You choose the last part. If it is already in use you are told so and offered an alternative. After publishing you can change it from Settings → General → Change URL, and the old address keeps forwarding to the new one.

  5. 5

    Check it privately

Generate a preview link to show the page to a co-organizer or a speaker before anyone else sees it. A preview link stops working after a set time, so a draft is never left open indefinitely.

  6. 6

    Publish

The Publish page shows a checklist — title, description, event date, location and capacity — and the Publish button turns on when every item is done. An in-person event needs a venue before it can go live. You then get the public address to copy. Guide: publish.

  7. 7

    Share it and get found

Paste the address anywhere — messages, email, social posts, a printed QR code. Public published events appear on WebMobi’s Discover page; see how event discovery works.

Running events regularly as a business? You can also answer four questions and have WebMobi write your event website — no account is needed until you publish.

What a visitor sees on your event page

  • When: the date and time, and a “Starts in N days” countdown before the event.
  • Where: the venue and address, with a “Get directions” link that opens the map.
  • The agenda: your sessions with their times, and a full schedule page.
  • Speakers: names, bios and photos. Speakers you import appear even before you assign them to a session, and their email addresses are never shown.
  • Sponsors and exhibitors: with the tier names you choose and their own pages.
  • One button: register here, or go to your ticketing site — whichever you set up (see below).

Separately: registration, your ticketing link, and payments

Publishing the page does not switch any of these on. Each is its own choice, made in the event’s Settings.

Registration on your page

People register with you, not with a third party, so you keep the list. You see everyone who registered, and can add people by hand. A new event sends no email at all until you turn on “Send emails for this event”.

Your own ticketing link

Already selling somewhere else? Paste the address into “External ticketing link” and the event page’s button sends people there. Nothing syncs back automatically — if you want those buyers in WebMobi, you import them.

Paid events: your own ticketing

WebMobi does not take ticket payments. Paste the link of the ticketing site you already sell on and the page’s button sends people there; attendees pay you directly and WebMobi takes no share of ticket revenue.

More on the registration side: event registration and the tickets and registration guide.

What is free, and what you pay for

The Free plan costs $0 and includes 50 participants a year. A participant is one person registering for one event, so the same person at two of your events counts twice.

Paid plans start at Creator, $19 a month, and add participant capacity, team members and AI automation. Planning a single event? Buy that one event once, from $49, with nothing to cancel afterwards.

On every plan WebMobi takes 0% of your ticket revenue. Your payment provider charges its own processing fee.

What it does not do

Better to know now than after you have shared the link.

It is not a general website builder

There is no drag-and-drop designer and no free-form pages. You fill in the event; the layout is WebMobi’s event page.

No custom domain on the event page

The address is on events.webmobi.com. You choose the part after /events/, but you cannot point your own domain at the event page today.

No ticket payments in WebMobi

There is no built-in checkout. Sell through the ticketing site you already use and paste its link.

No waitlists, promo codes or refunds

None of these exist in the product today. If you need them, use a ticketing site that has them and link to it.

Listing in the discovery directory is not instant

Submitting your event at /list-your-event sends us its details; it is not published the moment you press the button.

An import never removes anything

Taking a row out of your spreadsheet does not take it off your event. Delete it on its own page instead.

No livestreaming

This publishes a page for an event that happens somewhere. It does not stream or host an online event.

Where to go next

FAQ

Is WebMobi a website builder?

It is an event website builder. You do not design pages; you describe an event — when, where, the agenda, the speakers — and WebMobi publishes it as a page with its own address. If you need a general website with free-form pages, a general-purpose website builder is the better tool.

Can I create an event website for free?

Yes. The Free plan costs $0 and includes 50 participants a year — a participant is one person registering for one event. Paid plans start at Creator, $19 a month, and a single event can be bought once from $49. WebMobi takes 0% of ticket revenue on every plan. Full details are on the pricing page.

Do I need to know how to code or design?

No. You fill in forms — or import a spreadsheet — and the page is laid out for you. The flip side is that there is no drag-and-drop designer: the layout is WebMobi’s event page.

What address does my event website get, and can I change it?

It lives at events.webmobi.com/events/ followed by the address you choose. Before publishing you can edit it freely. After publishing, use Change URL in the event’s Settings; the old address keeps working and forwards to the new one, so links you have already shared do not break. You cannot point your own domain at the event page today.

Can I show the page to someone before it is public?

Yes. Generate a preview link from the event and send it to whoever needs to check the page. The link expires after a set time, and the event stays unpublished until you publish it.

Can people register on my event website?

Yes, if you want them to. Registration is a separate choice from publishing the page: people can register with you on the event page, or you can send them to a ticketing site you already use — WebMobi does not take ticket payments itself. A new event sends no email until you turn on “Send emails for this event”.

How will people find my event?

Through the address you share, and through WebMobi. Public published events are listed on WebMobi’s Discover page; events protected with a code or set to private are not. You can also submit your event to the WebMobi discovery directory at webmobi.com/list-your-event.

Does my event also appear in an app?

Your event page has an “Open in app” button that opens the event in the WebMobi app on iOS and Android. If you want an app with your own name and branding — with check-in, agenda and exhibitors for a conference — that is our other product, the Event App Builder.

Put your event on the web today.

Sign up, create the event with three fields, and publish when the checklist is done. The free plan is enough to start.
