At Mendios Technologies Bangalore Pvt Ltd, we stand behind the quality of WebMobi Events. We offer a comprehensive refund policy to ensure your satisfaction and build trust in our service.
2. 60-Day Money-Back Guarantee
2.1 Eligibility
We offer a 60-day money-back guarantee on all paid subscriptions (Basic, Engage, and Premium tiers). If you are not satisfied with WebMobi Events, you may request a full refund within 60 days of your initial purchase.
2.2 Conditions
To be eligible for a refund, the following conditions must be met:
- Request must be made within 60 days of the original purchase date
- Request must be for the first purchase only (not renewal subscriptions)
- You must have made a good-faith effort to use the service
- Account must not have violated our Terms of Service
- No fraudulent or abusive activity detected
2.3 Fair Usage Policy
Our refund policy is subject to fair usage. We reserve the right to decline refunds in cases of:
- Repeated refund requests (pattern of abuse)
- Excessive platform usage before refund request
- Account created solely to exploit the refund policy
- Evidence of fraudulent activity
- Violation of Terms of Service
3. Subscription Renewals
3.1 No Refunds on Renewals
The 60-day money-back guarantee applies only to your first purchase. Renewal subscriptions are non-refundable. However, you can cancel at any time before the next renewal date.
3.2 Cancellation Before Renewal
To avoid being charged for the next billing cycle:
- Cancel your subscription at least 7 days before the renewal date
- Cancellation can be done through your account settings
- You will retain access until the end of your paid period
- No partial refunds for unused portions of the billing cycle
4. Upgrades and Downgrades
4.1 Upgrades
- When you upgrade, you pay the prorated difference immediately
- The new tier takes effect immediately
- Upgrade charges are non-refundable
- Your renewal date remains unchanged
4.2 Downgrades
- Downgrades take effect at the next renewal date
- No refunds for the difference between tiers
- You retain access to current tier features until renewal
- Can be changed through account settings
5. Free Tier
The Free tier is provided at no cost and does not involve refunds. You may use the Free tier indefinitely, subject to our Terms of Service and usage limits.
6. Payment Processor Fees
When we process a refund, you will receive the full subscription amount. However, payment processor fees (Stripe/Razorpay transaction fees) are non-refundable as they are charged by third-party payment processors.
7. Event Ticket Sales
7.1 Not Our Responsibility
WebMobi Events is a platform for event management. We are not responsible for:
- Refunding tickets purchased by attendees for your events
- Disputes between event organizers and attendees
- Payment processor chargebacks for ticket sales
- Cancellation of events by organizers
7.2 Your Responsibility
As an event organizer using our platform, you are responsible for:
- Setting your own refund policy for event tickets
- Handling attendee refunds from your payment account
- Communicating your refund policy clearly to attendees
- Complying with consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction
8. How to Request a Refund
8.1 Step-by-Step Process
- Contact Support: Email us at refunds@webmobi.com with "Refund Request" in the subject line
- Provide Details:
- Your account email address
- Subscription tier and purchase date
- Reason for refund request (optional but helpful)
- Order ID or transaction reference
- Review: Our team will review your request within 2-3 business days
- Decision: You'll receive an email with our decision
- Processing: If approved, refunds are processed within 5-7 business days
8.2 Processing Time
- Credit Cards (Stripe): 5-10 business days to appear on your statement
- UPI/Net Banking (Razorpay): 3-7 business days
- Bank Transfer: May take up to 10 business days
Note: Processing times depend on your bank and payment method. We initiate refunds immediately upon approval.
9. Chargebacks
9.1 Please Contact Us First
Before initiating a chargeback with your bank or credit card company, please contact us. Most issues can be resolved quickly through our support team.
9.2 Chargeback Consequences
Unauthorized chargebacks may result in:
- Immediate suspension of your account
- Ineligibility for future refunds
- Chargeback fees charged to your account
- Legal action in cases of fraud
10. Exceptions and Special Cases
10.1 Service Outages
If we experience significant service outages (beyond our 99.9% uptime SLA), we may provide:
- Service credits for affected period
- Pro-rated refund in exceptional cases
- Extension of subscription period
10.2 Account Termination by Us
If we terminate your account for Terms of Service violations, no refunds will be issued. However, if we discontinue the service entirely, you will receive a pro-rated refund for unused time.
10.3 Data Migration Issues
If you experience data loss or migration issues due to our error, we will work to resolve the issue. If resolution is not possible, you may be eligible for a full refund.
11. Partial Refunds
We generally do not offer partial refunds for:
- Unused portions of billing periods
- Features you didn't use
- Add-ons or additional services
- Time you were unable to use the service (unless due to our outage)
Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion for extraordinary circumstances.
12. Currency and Exchange Rates
Refunds are processed in the original currency of purchase (USD or INR). If your bank converts the currency, you may incur foreign exchange fees. We are not responsible for exchange rate fluctuations or conversion fees.
13. Tax Refunds
If applicable taxes (GST, sales tax) were charged on your subscription, they will be included in the refund amount. You are responsible for adjusting your tax filings accordingly.
