Annual Gulf Insurance Forum 2025

The 20th Annual Gulf Insurance Forum, scheduled for 28th-29th October 2025 this year, under the theme: “Navigating Change: Shaping the Future of Reinsurance in a Dynamic Global Landscape.” We aim to support and develop the regional insurance landscape, recognizing its crucial role in the economic fabric of our nation and the unique challenges it faces. Several panel discussions will be conducted, addressing many important insurance technical issues and their impact on the insurance industry, including: Day 1 Recap and Progress: Addressing Natural Catastrophes in the GCC. Reinsurance Capacity in a Volatile Market: Challenges and Strategies for the GCC. Underwriting Excellence and Adapting Reinsurance Pricing in the GCC. Discussion Panel/ Building Resilience in the GCC Reinsurance Ecosystem. Day 2 The Financial Impact of Reinsurance: Enhancing Solvency and Improving Financial Strength. Discussion Panel/ Bridging Perspectives: The Evolving Relationship Between GCC Insurers and Reinsurers. This session is to follow on the 2nd session where participants will be engaged and discuss about Achieving a Unified Approach to Risk Retention and Transfer in the GCC. We have invited a broad spectrum of participants including insurance companies, brokers, and associations, alongside Arab Insurance Federations, Federation of Afro-Asian Insurers & Reinsurers (FAIR) and regulatory bodies, to engage in this critical dialogue and connect with peers across the Gulf insurance markets.
